Pastor Stoney Benfield
Pastor Stoney Benfield, his wife Missy, and their six children moved to Albemarle in 2005. He is originally from Hickory, NC. In September of 1996 he felt the undeniable call of God on his life. He then attended Fruitland Bible Institute and served six years as Pastor of Evangelism and two years as Associate Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church in Conover, NC.
Pastor Stoney has a burden for the lost and a desire to bring them into a relationship with Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. His goal is to evangelize the lost, equip the

saints and exalt the Savior!! He firmly believes that as we share the “good news” of Jesus Christ, lives will be transformed by the power of the gospel. As a result Christians will be conformed into the image of Christ and make disciples of every nation, starting in Stanly County and reaching literally around the world.
