Reasons For A Prayer Ministry:
1. There are many prayer requests and needs that we want to take to God in prayer.
2. Prospect Baptist Church must learn to pray for us to go with God into the future.
3. The church is called to be a House Of Prayer according to the New Testament.
4. Prayer really does work!
How The Prayer Ministry Works:
1. On Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights prayer request cards are available in the basket on the altar for the congregation to complete.
2. On Wednesday nights we pray over all requests during the Wednesday night service (cards need to be completed before the service begins and placed into the other basket located on the altar).
3. On Sunday morning the prayer request cards need to be completed and placed in the basket during the Welcome Song.
4. On Sunday morning couples or two people of the same gender who have signed up for that Sunday to pray will be praying over all requests during the preaching part of the service. Right now the prayer room is located in Room 108.

1. As a prayer warrior you will find a guide to help you know what to pray for and how to pray in the prayer room.
2. Mike and Bobbie Burleson are available to answer any questions about the Prayer Ministry.
3. Prayer Warriors are invited to meet at 9 AM on Sunday mornings in the sanctuary to pray over all the seats and the upcoming services.
4. Prayer Warriors also are invited to gather 15 minutes before each service in the room to the left of the stage to pray for the upcoming service. Everyone is invited and nobody is asked to pray aloud or be embarrassed.
5. Pastor Benfield encourages many to be a part of this ministry as we strive to minister to every person in need and walk with God by faith!
