Children's Minisrty Overview

At PBC we are proud of our rich history of training children to live for Jesus. We count it a privilege to serve along side many gifted and caring teachers and children's volunteers. Our prayer continues to be that in every event and program children are encountering scriptural truths to live by. It is our goal in children's ministry to build a biblical foundation for life and teach children how to apply God's truth every day. Whether we are teaching in a classroom or on the playground or having fun at Children's Church we pray that children will experience Jesus' great love for them.

Children's Church

CHILDREN’S CHURCH IS AN EXCITING TIME of learning and fun for children three years old through fifth grades. Children who attend Sunday School are escorted to Children's Church directly after Sunday school. This is the children's chance to worship the Lord in an age appropriate setting.  We have lots of fun with visitors from all over the world and throughout all of time.  Guests from the future, from the past and guests from this very time in which we live.  We can't forget our puppet guests that make appearances from time to time.  Just a great time for children of all ages!  Children come and join us while your parents are in the A.M. worship service.

 AWANA (Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed) Overview

Awana is a nondenominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children and teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. We supply programs, materials and training for more than 13,000 churches in over 110 countries. Our message to churches is simple: We're here to serve you with a ministry that is all about fun with a purpose — to win and grow kids for Christ!

The AWANA program includes games, Bible stories and memory work. Our club meets weekly on Sunday evenings, from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Our club currently meets at Footloose skating rink for Sparks and Truth & Training.  Cubbies, Trek & Journey will continue to meet on campus.  Our AWANA club is part of more than 60,000 AWANA clubs which operate around the world. Our church has the following groups for boys and girls:
